Casa Camar – Continuous Space

The Casa Camar integrates into a green residential neighborhood, hosting four apartments, each with private gardens and rooftop gardens. The design revisits vertical duplex apartments while enhancing landscape views. The building volume faces the street with inclined and recessed parts, allowing natural light in while shielding from street noise. Upper levels feature voids and roof gardens, welcoming sunlight through circulation verticality. Apartments span two floors: bedrooms on the ground floor, living/kitchen on the first floor, half a level offset for solar optimization. Prefabricated timber frame rests on a reinforced concrete plinth housing the garage. External Douglas fir slats provide a natural, integrated aesthetic. MINERGIE standards ensure low energy consumption and comfort.
