Via Bertoni: Vertical Multi-Generational Housing

By stacking two single-family houses, an urban building emerges, with one unit enjoying ground access and garden, the other elevated for sky and views. A middle floor contains two small apartments. Different typologies respond to multigenerational living needs. Geometry respects parcel shape, solar orientation, and views. The ground floor houses a duplex with garden access, the second floor two small apartments, and the third floor another duplex with views. Compact volumes with recesses, loggias, and terraces create connections with the street, surroundings, sun, and views. Concrete is paired with colored wooden dividers defining interior spaces.
